Summary
PodShuttle does not require an account, and n5 Interactive does not collect, sell, share, or use personal information from the app for tracking, advertising, or analytics.
Information stored on your Mac
PodShuttle stores your favorite podcasts, transfer history, transfer queue, device profiles, app preferences, and authorization for the storage locations you select. This information remains locally in PodShuttle's macOS app container. PodShuttle does not sync this information to n5 Interactive or to iCloud.
Downloaded episodes are temporarily stored on your Mac while they are processed and transferred. Temporary downloads are deleted after a successful transfer. MP3 speed conversion and ID3 tagging happen locally on your Mac.
Files and connected storage
PodShuttle accesses only folders and mounted storage locations that you select through the macOS file picker. It reads, writes, replaces, or deletes podcast files in those locations only when needed for features you choose to use.
Transfer reports are created only when you export them and are saved to the location you select.
Network connections
PodShuttle connects to Apple's public podcast directory to perform searches. It also connects directly to podcast publishers and their service providers to load RSS feeds, artwork, and episode MP3 files. Those services may receive standard network information, such as your IP address and the requested resource, and handle it under their own privacy policies. n5 Interactive does not receive this information from PodShuttle.
Data retention and control
Locally stored app information remains on your Mac until you remove it through the app where that option is available or delete PodShuttle's application data. Podcast files placed on a selected device or folder remain there until you remove them.
Children
PodShuttle does not knowingly collect personal information from children or any other users.
Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated if PodShuttle's features or information practices change. The effective date above will be updated when that happens.
